During his legal clerkship, Mr. Fritz worked for a leading international bank and for the German federal state of Brandenburg InvestitionsBank

Junior law partnership since 2003 Areas of specializationMr Fritz assists in our Frankfurt and Leipzig offices partly complex and international company insolvencies with the focus on continuation and recapitalisation from the insolvency. He was able to gain various experiences in acquisition, sale and recapitalisation of national and international companies as well as international and complex corporate groups. In this field of activity Mr. Fritz also acts as a legal advisor for companies, corporate groups and banks.
Mr. Fritz also is often consulted in the field of banking and financing as well as for real estate transactions.
Mr. Fritz is an expert in the field of Insolvency Avoidance Law as well as Corporate Law where he specialised in the sector of shareholders equity indemnity law and financing models for corporate groups. Moreover, next to rendering legal advice he is also active in forensic science.
Since 2004 Mr. Fritz is a court-appointed Insolvency Administrator and Insolvency Expert.
LanguagesGerman and English Lectures and PublicationsDaniel F. Fritz regularly gives lectures both in Germany and abroad on Insolvency Law as well as on European Union Insolvency Law at the German Academy for Judges (Deutsche Richterakademie) located in Wustrau as well as regarding the laws applicable to foreign limited companies operating within Germany. He has published articles both in specialized German and foreign journals including in the German Journal for Economics and Insolvency Law (“Deutsche Zeitschrift für Wirtschafts- und Insolvenzrecht”). As a co-author of the ZAP form book Insolvency Law, vol.1 (publisher: Haarmeyer /Pape /Stephan /Nickert) he also is responsible for the section of international insolvency law. Moreover Mr. Fritz is the co-editor of the book “The Private Limited Company in Germany”, published 2008 by ZAP-Verlag. Only recently Daniel published an article in Financier Worldwide about turnarounds in the automotive sector (see publications). Miscellaneous Professional CommitmentsMr. Fritz has also turned his attention to Eastern European Insolvency Law.
On behalf of the Association for Technical Co-operation (“Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit”, GTZ), Mr. Fritz compiled the draft of the new Insolvency Law for Bosnia-Herzegovina and in the scope of the European Union “Tacis Project” he trains insolvency administrators and judges in the Russian Federation. In his last position he was appointed as a permanent advisor for the insolvency department of the Serbian Privatisation Agency.
For INSOL Europe Mr. Fritz maintains contacts to Eastern European and Russian insolvency administrators, for example in the form of the organisation of the first European/Russian insolvency professional’s congress in St. Petersburg.
