In accordance with his professional conception of Commercial Law attorney, Mr. Fiedler not only put emphasis on legal education during his legal clerkship, but in 1978 he already had worked within a specialized Insolvency Law firm.  After passing the mandatory German second State examinations, he settled down as a self-employed attorney within the Darmstadt regional court district.  He subsequently took up a position within a medium-sized law firm in Offenbach.

 

Apart from his active engagement in the criminal defense cases, in the 1980’s Mr. Fiedler’s area of specialization shifted more towards Commercial Law for commercial partnership clientele.  In the 1990’s Mr. Fiedler completed additional specialized attorney training in business management law and Tax Law.

 

In 1993 he joined a Frankfurt-based Corporate Law firm which, in addition to specializing in representing medium-sized German corporations within the Rhein-Main area, provided legal representation of foreign corporations before the German courts.  During this time, Mr. Fiedler’s legal areas of specialization were out-of-court settlements and forensic representation of the consulting of medium-sized companies in labor law issues.

 

In the backdrop of the economic recession of the mid-1990’s, Mr. Fiedler supported numerous restructuring proceedings outside the context of Insolvency Proceedings within the framework of labor law from which he derived models and concepts in the reduction of the workforce of corporations containing up to 1,500 employees.

 

In conjunction with this rather business-oriented area of specialization, Mr. Fiedler also obtained in 1995 the qualification of attorney specializing in Tax Law and in 1996 the qualification of attorney specializing in labor law.

 

In our firm it is incumbent upon Mr. Fiedler to care and control Commercial Law matters on behalf of our corporate clients as well as manage our litigation department.  Moreover, Mr. Fielder is in charge of Labor Law and in this connection devises personnel restructuring measures during in insolvencies of all sizes.

 

Mr. Fiedler considers himself as a pragmatist. He is always intent on expeditious, efficient and commercially-sound legal solutions.
