Attorney, auditor and tax consultant Jochen Humbeck started his professional career at Ernst & Young in Stuttgart. There, he advised listed corporations and family businesses in various industrial sectors, such as automotive, energy, commerce, and chemistry. Between 1997 and 2000 he worked for Ernst & Young in Chicago/USA. During his years with Ernst & Young, Jochen Humbeck gained extensive experience in advising clients on Corporate Finance, M&A and Restructuring.

 

Since 2002, Jochen Humbeck has primarily been working in the areas Restructuring and Insolvency Administration. Until 2004 he had worked at the law firm Grub Brugger & Partner in Stuttgart, before he joined Ebner Stolz & Partner in Stuttgart, where he stayed until 2007.

 

Fundamental to his work is the diligent appraisal of the legal and economic situation. Based on his broad professional experience and industry knowledge, Jochen Humbeck has developed a comprehensive understanding of complex economic structures.  This enables him to arrive at practical solutions in restructuring advice or the development of insolvency plans, even if the issues at hand are complex. He acts on the principle that the restructuring of a company does not solely require advice, but primarily a targeted implementation.

 

So far, Jochen Humbeck has worked on numerous insolvencies of companies and consultancy mandates.  Since 2009, he has been in charge of managing and developing our newly established office in Stuttgart.
