Since 1997 Ms. Kappel-Gnirs has specialized in the areas of Insolvency Administration and Reorganization consulting.  In this connection she is involved in the settlement of complex Insolvency Proceedings, in particular with the management of companies.  She has conducted, in part, the management of companies for many years with the goal of disposing of corporate shares within the scope of asset deals.  She has also collaborated in an important capacity in the drawing up of insolvency plans for the preservation of the insolvent legal entity.  In addition, Ms. Kappel-Gnirs advises companies, banks, corporate bodies as well as private individuals in the are of Commercial Law with her expertise in out-of-court restructurings, Insolvency Law and Corporate Law (rescissions, redundancy programs, implementation of rights to separation and rights to segregation, etc).  She possesses years of experience in corporate reorganizations even those within an international scope as well as specialized knowledge of the telecommunications field and in Health Law.

Ms. Kappel-Gnirs completed with success her specialized legal studies as an Insolvency Law specialist attorney.  She takes part regularly in Insolvency Law-specific colloquiums and seminars.  She is a member of the Working Groups on Insolvency Law and Reorganizations of the German Attorney Association.  She has often appeared as a speaker at Insolvency Law-specific colloquiums at the German Bank Management Academy (Hochschule für Bankwirtschaft or HFB) within the framework of internal banking seminars.  Moreover, Ms. Kappel-Gnirs is a member of the Creditors’ Committee of Inspection of a renowned airline company.
